Sports day pass activation

I have just bought a day pass. Is it activated straightaway or can I do it when I actually want to watch a game. Buying a pass used to say activate but it doesn’t say that now

Subscription only 2 weeks

I started my Entertainement Membership on 26.12.23 and paid £9.99. However, my next payment is due on 02.01.24 (2 weeks later). Why is my membership only 2 weeks and not 1 month as advertised?
