Hi
Took a day off. Totally wasted as engineer was a no show..... Engineer due between 8am-1pm.
I have a BT open reach socket in the new rental I just moved to. Am I OK just to plug the hub in as today is activation day. Do I really need an engineer?
Thanks

Hi @Anonymous User
No harm plugging in the NOW Hub 2 Router into the existing BT telephone master socket and leaving it on through out the day.
The BT Openreach Engineer may have been working on the street cabient.
If you see the three constant green lights on the front of the NOW Router then your internet is live and good to go.

Hiya. All plugged in and waiting. 2 green lights so far. Finally got through to the broadband team and they said "oh you were moved to no engineer required" 😂 anyway, it doesn't appear to be Live yet, he said by midnight.

Still 2 lights only, kids pulling their hair out. Been without Internet 10 days already cuz I bungled a house move & timings 😂... Don't suppose anyone knows roughly what time on the day of commissioning that the line actually becomes Live?

It can take up until midnight, are you able to use your phone as a hotspot until it’s sorted?
