Shockingly slow broadband

  • My broadband is so slow I have turned it of to use phone hotspot .not worth the 28 quid a month I pay

Have you tried asking yourself these questions:

 Why is my broadband so slow, and what sort of speeds are others getting/can i expect in my postcode/area?

What can i do to improve things?

To follow up from @chilli2 are your speeds slow over WiFi or Ethernet?

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

What Now broadband have you got, how slow is slow exactly , and what did Now promise you?

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.

Even I am having intermittent issues. It not only slows down, but it completely disappears sometimes too. And no communication from NOW of any update or work Also, the times when I have issues, their customer support center is closed. So cannot even call anyone for help. Very poor customer service.

Do you know if the problems are just over Wi-Fi, have you tried using a wired connection?
