I called customer services today about bad internet connectivity and after doing a line test they said they needed to send an engineer out. In the past with other providers this has cost me a small fortune, so I wondered if anyone had had an engineer sent out before and if so did you have to pay?
Thanks in advance.

With most ISP's O/R will charge if fault is in your internal wiring/ sockets that are downstream of their Master Socket. Hence why ISP advice is always to plug in router to the TEST SOCKET inside the Master Socket.
If fault then disappears, fault in your wiring/filters/sockets✅
