Caller ID still not active months after signing up!

Can someone please shed some light as to why caller ID is not displayed?

I already contacted NowTV when I signed up months ago, and was advised it would resolve in 24 hours. It did for a short period, ans now has reverted back to witheld caller details!

It's so very frustrating! This should be within my package!

No Caller display, no 141, no 1471 service. When I phoned they told me I wasnt entitled to them & had to pay £1 each a service I was told when I signed up was free/std and part of my anytime calls package. Iwish I had stayed with Sky. I want to switch back to them.

Hi @Anonymous User

i have caller id free on my NOW Broadband account and have had it since caller id was introduced for free on NOW.

Don't know why the person you spoke to said it wasn't free.

I can't see any technical reasons why it wouldn't be free to you from reading this NOW article below.

I was told a similar thing,  I had to wait for an engineer to change the lines... 10 months later still the same. We seem to still have Sky Talk Shield from when we were with Sky on incoming calls still, not bothered about that but is annoying not having caller ID

Fed up off them too. Same problem. I'm going back to Sky or will sign up with Virgin Media.
