My wife made the mistake of taking a free 7 day kids pass to entertain our kids over a week of the school holidays.
The day before expiry (as it was a free pass after all) we tried to cancel the pass by logging into our Now TV account, but this part of the now TV website was not working, so we couldn't cancel the pass.
Long story short we have been trying ever since to contact NowTV to cancel and to say we do not want this pass and simply cannot afford it, but they seem impossible to get through to as clearly they have no desire to peak with cancelling cuistomers!
We cancelled the mandate with our bank, however keep getting emails from NowTV saying the payment is failing and every time we try again to see if we can access the page in our account to cancel it formally and every time it tells us 'Its taking too long and to try refreshing our browser. This message comes up instantly though. We have tried on different browsers, differnt computers and every time the same.
We have tried emailing Now TV, have tried finding a customer services telephone number which seemingly does not exist.
My wife did after an hour of hunting around find an email address to email about this issue, but now after several weeks and no response we can only assume this has been ignored.
My advice is to never take a free pass and we have been cautioning people regarding this NowTV practice ever since.
On Live Chat, when you can get onto it, keep your answers short, sweet and prompt, or it will time out on you.
If the person you are talking to doesn’t seem able to understand your issue, ask to be escalated to the next level of help.
