Subtitles don't seem to be working correctly whilst I'm watching a film. One line stays on the screen for a long time and doesn't refresh with speech. Does anyone else have this problem or know whether it can be fixed?

If it’s a NowTV stick, find the little button on the side and hold it in for 15 seconds to reset it, and then try again.
If it’s not, it would be helpful to know what device(s) this is happening on.

I don't have a stick,just a laptop. Windows 10.

If you look at previous posts, this has been a problem for quite a while. The linked thread has been going since last year!
I don't need subtitles but can see on all my registered devices that the problem exists.
