I have a Samsung smart TV which won't let me view a movie which is live from the library.
So I've been out and bought a now tv stick which won't let me stream as I have to wait till the 1st of the new month?

When going to your online NowTV account under My Account > Manage Account > Devices have you got any device swaps left ?
Normally you are given three swaps each month.
If you have used all three swaps this calendar month see if live chat will grant you some extra swaps.

With regards to your Samsung Smart TV, i know NowTV was encountering various problems on Samsung Smart TV's and other devices over the weekend (don't know if it's fixed because i don't own any of the devices effected or related to your particular problem using NowTV live TV).
