First time set up- wrong wifi password

Hi! I received my new router a few days ago and waited till yesterday (my connection date) to plug it in, I then plugged it all in following the instructions, all three lights are green but when I try connecting using the password provided it says incorrect password.

I'm definitely using the right password, I've tried turning the box off and on again, and I've also tried holding the reset button underneath down for 15 seconds.

Any tips?

Read the password very carefully, to distinguish 0s and Os, 1s and ls lower case ell) and Is (upper case eyes).

Type the password exactly as shown, lower case, upper case and numerals, ignoring the absurd advice in the Now instructions to use all capitals.

If you have a device with WPS (WiFi Protected Setup) try that to get a connection.

In the last ditch case where the label on the router doesn’t match the password in the router, connect to the router by an Ethernet cable from a PC, Mac or laptop, open the router admin page, and check there what the password actually is.

To have someone walk you through this, if necessary, call the Now Broadband team on

 0330 041 2518, 0330 041 2462 or 0330 332 3050, or maybe 0800 759 1213

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
