no picture or sound on roku 3

Ive just installed now tv on my new roku 3  but cant watch any programs!

I can log in , & select any show or live tv as per usual , but after the buffer logo disapears im left with a blank black screen & now sound, however if i click on the remote i can still see the program info panel for the asociated program . whats wrong ??

Hi @Anonymous User,

 

Sorry to hear this.

 

There's a few things you can try. The first would be to switch the hdmi lead around. It may also help to try a different HDMI input, if you have one.

 

Lastly, if you have another TV, try connecting the Roku to that and if NOW TV works, try it again on the original TV.
