Now Player won't download on laptop

Got new laptop. Clicked on download player, file downloaded but nothing happens - any ideas or hints?

And I clicked player downloaded so now it won't let me try again!

You're best to search the forum for the PC player. There are many workarounds which should work.

The usual error people make is to download the Player, but not to Install it, Step 3.

The file should be in your Downloads folder on the PC, so find it there, with Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer), click it, and carry on the install.

Issue was that I was in S mode so turned that off and now all is well.

but that, and several places it is used, do not go where they should, just to the entry page for Help, so I had to give the slightly more indirect route above.

From today you'll no longer need to use the player and should be able to watch in your web browser, this should happen automatically when you go to play content from the site.
