Connection issues on TV

I’ve labelled this Windows because it asked for a label but it isn’t, it’s about TV.

After a fire stick update, I switched on my tv and received a Not connected to the internet message. I contacted the chat help and reset the fire stick . I then had to sign in to Now but had forgotten my password. I have reset my password but now I still get a message saying Connection to NOWTV failed. I’ve lost the person I was chatting to, am stuck on the enter password screen and am thoroughly frustrated!

When you say Fire stick, can I assume you are referrring to Amazon Fire Stick?

 

Have you tried to delete and reinstall the app?

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

Yes, an Amazon fire stick. I’ll try reloading the app today but last night it was frozen on that screen and I couldn’t even turn off the TV using the fire stick remote

In the end I connected using the button on my Now box. This deleted and reinstalled the app so I had to start from the beginning again and reinstall all the other apps, which was a pain but at least the TV is working now.
