With rising inflation and basic goods why can't Now TV be a bit more generous in terms of giving a bit of help with NHS staff? (which were given a pay rise well below the inflation levels).

Feel free to support them with as much of your own money as you can afford 😛

Shame. NHS staff are mostly unappreciated. Not than any other lower-earning jobs aren't but with respect NHS staff have been in the frontline against Covid. Not office workers.

@Anonymous User I somewhat resent that. My wife works for the DWP and she was designated an essential worker during the Covid lockdowns. When many others were safely at home she was exposed to the virus when travelling to and from work and being based in an office where they were working flat out to provide benefits to the most vulnerable. Whilst NHS staff generally have and will continue to get my support, you have lost it. They are not all low paid, compared to many.

Start the process of cancelling your streaming memberships. You may find that Now will offer you a discount to stay.
Even if they don’t, and you get right through the cancel process, you can easily reverse this with the option Now give you for that, which appears at the bottom of the screen.
None of these discounts will be NHS-based though; your union, or possibly the NHS itself, will have details of offers available to NHS staff, which will not be generally publicised elsewhere.
