I take it you mean you have been a streaming-only customer?
Then yes, you count as a new Broadband customer.
But even if you weren’t, Now generally recognise, if you ask for the new customer discount, that (a) it is more cost-effective to keep you, even at the discounted rate, than to let you go and (b) they have signed up not to give new customers better deals than existing customers.
Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
