I believe when I purchased the NOW TV combo with the broadband, it automatically added an additional £50 to the bill to add the box and make it contractless. I was wondering if I can get the £50 back and return the box as I found that I haven't even used it once as my TV already as now TV and so does my ps4 pro.

The £50 fee is the setup fee for transferring your broadband and calls over to NOW TV rather than a specific fee for the box (it's more than the setup fee for the other options due to not being tied into a long term contract) so I doubt you would get a refund.
However I'd recommend giving the Combo Team a call to ask them direct. You'll find the number on your My Account > My Passes page

Hi @Anonymous User
With the NOW TV Combo you get the NOW TV Smart Box free as part of your Combo deal.
The £50 is an activation fee for the set-up of your broadband/line rental.
Thanks
