Hi there.
My remote does not seem to want to link up to my now TV stick. I changed the batteries and when I put batteries in the reset button just flashes continuously at me. I tried to reset the stick and remote together and followed advise on the help page which did nothing. Please can anyone help before I throw it away

Have a nosy at this link for troubleshooting.

Worst case you’ll need to do a factory reset to the stick to do a force repair.

Thank you for reply, the link for remote is the one I used but did not work, and I can not reset my stick to factory settings as the remote will not work due to constant flashing and not connecting to the stick.
It's very frustrating

@Emma2 assuming you have a mobile device, try downloading the Roku Remote Control app. You can then use your mobile device as the remote control.
Not a perfect solution but should give you use of the stick again.
Just a warning though, if you do manage to factory reset the stick, the Roku Remote Control app will no longer work.

You don’t need the remote to be paired in order to do a factory reset. The drop down from the link I gave you that’s entitled “I’ve got a smart stick” will show you what to do in order to do a factory reset. See below picture for what I’m talking about.

When you see the flashing, press the pairing button in the remote (you still need the battery cover off at this point as it’s underneath that) and hold it down for three seconds.
Then wait 30 seconds for the remote and stick to establish the pairing, and you should be good to go.
