Are you getting email confirmation about the cancellation?
If not then you aren't going through the wonderful hoops to cancel it.
What do you mean by 'chat isn't working?' What have you tried/done?
Are you clicking 'chat online' within the green box or you hitting 'get help quicker'? The latter is a bot.

That's cause Live chat is for TV only and broadband is a free from number which can be found in this link.
