First payment

I’ve just joined the NowTV subscription for entertainment and I paid with PayPal but then I had to pay another £1 to Sky for some reason, is there something I missed or is this an error.

You didn’t actually pay them a pound. They reserved this on your card, or possibly on your PayPal account, as the standard way of checking if you had credit available.

The reserve will come off shortly.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help
