Cancel minimum term subscription within 14 days

I have just signed up to a new sports subscription for a 6 months discount period as a gift for a relative, but they have no need for it. I wish to cancel and get a refund on the first payment as within 14 days and the service has not been used. Chat bot is unresponsive. Any suggestions?
