SMS on NowTV landline network

Does anyone know if SMS can be done over NowTV landline network?

My landline phone is compatible but not sure if the network is?

I did raise this with NowTV

They replied with:-

"I truly do apologise as unfortunately we do not offer a service which allows customer's to relay messages via text message for the landline service, 

I appreciate that some other suppliers do have this available however this is not something we can do. "

Just for anyone looking for an answer to the same question!

I was actually impressed with the speed of their reply
