Hi
I m moving to new house where previous house owner were using Now TV broadband
when I try to book the setup now tv website says engineer will visit
why engineer has to visit if they send me set up boxes I can do it my self assuming line is already available .

You may find when you get closer to your NOW live activation date that the status will change from Engineer visit to self install under the Orders & Appointments section of the online NOW account.
I believe it has happened a few times in the past.
Or you could question it by contacting the NOW Broadband Team.

Forgot to add when NOW was doing a system check on their data base for your post code address when ordering NOW Broadband, they may have found an issue with the line that needs addressing by an Engineer (home visit).
Hence the Engineer required visit on the sign up process on their website.
If none of the Engineer dates offered during sign up are suitable for you, then maybe contact the NOW Broadband Team for clarification if they believe an Engineer Home visit is necessary at the property.
