How do you know that an engineer will be coming?
If you haven’t told anyone at Now Broadband about your problem, then it’s very unlikely anyone will notice it.
If you have told someone at Now Broadband about your problem, then that’s the person you should re-contact and chase. Though note that Openreach respond to Now on a 72-hour SLA, and it’s only 48 hours you have been waiting.
We are all just fellow-customers here; we can sympathise, and offer advice as above, but that’s about the limit of it 😢
