Edinburgh - connection dropped around 9 pm

I've lost internet connection around 9pm in the east Edinburgh area. Am I the only one?

The router seems to work fine, all the devices that are connected to it can communicate with each other. But there's just no internet at all, for 2 hours now. Base on the info I've gathered, maybe it's some local outrage?

You won't get any form of staff giving updates on here in relation to broadband. It has never happened in my time of using the forum.

Below are some standard things you can and probably have done before calling the team.

Have you done a factory reset to the router indicated in the link below?https://help.nowtv.com/article/improve-broadband-speed

This link also shows any planned outages as well wide spread faults.

You need to call the broadband team. See link for number.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

Around 12 pm on the next day I was back online. And I have no idea why there was no internet for the whole night.

This was not reported anywhere as known outage, but definitely something was wrong.

The same for us and still no Internet, has yours been fixed?

Thanks. Of course I've tried everything, but nothing helped. In the morning the internet came back, so I guess Now/Sky managed to fix whatever was causing the issue.

I need to say that the link with service status is useless, it's always showing that everything's fine 😄

It's not the first time when Now connection dropped for me in the night. But it was the first time when the outage lasted for such a long time. Usually it's dropping every few weeks around 1am for maybe 20 minutes. Now the connection was gone for a whole night. 

I don't think there's anything you can do in such cases, because Now is not picking up the phone be after 8pm, while the connectivity issues are always late I the night.

I’m the same, has anyone managed to get through to Now? Tried calling and they want me to send a photograph!!

Same issue in Newxraighall!! What’s update, I can’t get through to Now, they have set their phone lines to drop calls once you select broadband/technical issues. I’ve done a rest and unplugged etc etc 🙄🤦‍♀️
