Dangerous Open Reach cables into house

There are two boxes in a cupboard in my house which have Open Reach cabling. After clearing out the cupboard for the first time in years I was shocked to see the state of these boxes. One box looks extremely old and dangerously precarious, the other is newer but the cover has come away and cannot be screwed back in. I called Open Reach and they told me their people won't come into the house. They said I should request a repair/inspection team via my network supplier as this is a Health and Safety issue.

How can I get in touch with the appropriate people at NOW?

Are you using either of these "boxes" for your broadband connection?

 Are these "boxes" connected to anything ? are they marked as openreach, BT, GPO, or even NTC?
