Broadband Penarth

Hi my Broadband cut out at 9:30 am this morning on a really important works call tried calling was advised 72 hrs till its fixed any updates on if its back up ? cheers

To get updates you need to keep calling NOW, not a damn thing will be posted on here. Bear in mind NOW rely 100% on OpenReach, so it's up to them to pass any updates to NOW. 

There is a 2 working day thing until you are entitled to compensation. See this link.

Now is domestic broadband, and perhaps not best suited to taking really important works calls 😢

But even the most resilient Business Broadband service can fail - though it will have a rather better SLA than 72 hours! - so you should ensure that in time of need you can switch fairly seamlessly to a hotspot on your mobile phone, to keep up your internet connectivity.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
