Bad telephone line and poor broadband

Hi I have static on my phone calls and can hardly hear people, also my broadband is really slow, but it says all is OK when I ask them to check my line through the Bot questions?  Can someone recommend what I should do please?

Log onto the router 192.168.0.1 -> Maintenance (bottom of the page ) Show Statistics 

This will tell you the connection speed and other useful information
