NOW Entertainment Requesting payment but I'm up to date with my payments!

Tried to watch True detective S.4 . I am fully up to date with my monthly payments to NOW Entertainment, but my device (Samsung Smart TV) is requesting me to Join up and pay up for a NOW subscription!!

True Detective S4 is giving Apple TV devices conniption fits at the moment; maybe it’s not just Apple TV affected 😢

If you try to play some other, older, programme, does that work OK. or do you get the same issue?

If you do, can you double-check that you are actually signed in to Now on the Samsung TV with the same subscription details, username and password, as the membership you are paying for?

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
