I've been using the NowTV player on my PC to watch forumla 1, but recently I've been noticing a distracting issue. While watching, I see a red and blue camo pattern overlay on the video content, which ruins the viewing experience. (pictures attached)
Has anyone else been experiencing this? It's really frustrating, and I can't seem to find a solution. I've tried reinstalling the player, updating my graphics card drivers, and even resetting my PC, but the problem persists.
I have a suspiction that it might be a DRM watermark type of implementation. I suspect that someone is trying to be clever by adding this camo pattern as a way to prevent piracy or unauthorized distribution of NowTV content. But to be honest, it's just plain stupid and unnecessary. I'm a legitimate user who pays for the service, and I shouldn't have to put up with this.
If anyone has any ideas or solutions to fix this problem, please let me know. Otherwise, I urge NowTV to look into this issue and remove this camo pattern from their player. It's really frustrating and ruins the whole point of watching the content in the first place.
I've raised the issue with support already and am awaiting their response, just wanted to know if you're experiencing the same issue?
