i am going on holiday very soon is it worth taking the stick with me ..will it work on a tv , or a tablet laptop

If your are a NOW UK customer then the answer is no when watching NOW (not sure about the other Apps on the Stick).

If you are a NOW Republic of Ireland customer then you can watch for 30 days when in the EU.

To add what @schnapps  said. Guessing you would be able to watch Disney+ and Netflix just fine if you are subscribed to them.
