My remote instead of scrolling through the tv channels has swap to pausing live tv. How do I get it back to the way it used to be?

Unfortunately you can't with the latest NOW App version 8.0.2 update on NOW branded and Roku devices.
Have a read of this linked thread below asking the same question.
Hopefully NOW will take note.

Looks like NOW have taken note.
