The office US sound

On the Now TV App on my laptop, the sound quality of the office US is in a higher pitch than on all other streaming / dvd formats. Why? This appears to be an error with now.

You will likely find also that each episode runs a little shorter than advertised, due to being shown at too fast a frame rate.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.

Interesting. So, the frame rate alters the audio. That makes sense as the opening titles are sped up. Thanks for sharing.
Looks like I’ll be watching it on prime as that has normal running order.

Indeed so. But as the article explains, it’s possible to adjust the frame rate (though the adjustment needed here is one of the trickiest), or to electronically drop the pitch of the audio to at least fix that.

But Now have not chosen to do either 😢
