How to stop sound delay on Xbox one? I’m paying for boost but I’m the only one watching it. Have HD but sound is delayed by a second and so annoying

Does the TV you own have “enhanced HDMI” as an option?

This could possibly resolve the issue, as I know my PS5 wasn’t up to scratch as expected until I activated this on my TV.
There might be a solution in the Xbox forums as it’s been highlighted with different applications regarding the delay in sound.

Hi @Anonymous User
Does it happen to all NOW content you watch or just a particular TV show or movie ?
Are you using both HDMI and optical out from your Xbox to the same Audio playback device ?
If so what happens if you use optical out only ?
If the HDMI is passing through your television first and then going into a soundbar for example, what happens if you temporary unplug the power to the television for around 2 minutes.
I don't own an Xbox or any Games console, but i would also have a play around with the different sound and HDMI settings on your Xbox (even if other Apps are playing fine with regards to sound).

Boost only helps provide 5.1 when it comes to sound.
Is your issue with all content?
Have you tried another device?
