No disconnect notice given to my other provider.

Second time I've had to post this due to the first one being marked as 'spam'.

Hey there. I'm a new NowTV customer. When I originally registered I was told that you would let my old provider ('VM') know that I was switching over.

I contacted a customer service agent from the 'VM' website who confirms that they received no such disconnection notice.

Apparently I don't have permission to upload an image showing this chat, but I hope somebody here can confirm to me why no representative from NowTV made 'VM' aware of the disconnect notice, this means I am now paying an extra month (just had to cancel it through my own findings) for their service (£54.00) which I shouldn't be using in the first place because I am with this company now!

I have to say this is a disappointing start so far.

Hi @Anonymous User

This was taken from the NowTV article about switching to NowTV Broadband.

Switching from Virgin?

If you're switching from Virgin Media, you’ll need to let them know your NOW Broadband activation date so they can cancel your services as close to the activation date as possible.

You can check your activation date in Orders & appointments. If you need an engineer visit and the scheduled time and date don’t work for you, get in touch by phone and we’ll arrange a new appointment.
