As far as I know, I have / had 4 devices where I used Now TV.
I've replaced a couple of these now and they tell me that the maximum device limit is reached and that I must remove some.
But when I come to my account, all four slots are empty so I can't do that?
Any advice appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you've reached your device limit (altho you should see any devices you can watch on listed on your device list so double check you are logged in with the right username). If you've watched on four different devices in the past then the device limit rules kick in, where you can now only add one new device a month, even if you delete several.
Have a word with Live Chat, explain what's happened and see if they can sort something out for you as a courtesy.
