The thing that boggles my mind is how have you only just noticed now 20 months later?

You do NOT need their discontinued box to be subscribed to the service.

It is and always has been up to you to manage any membership with NOW. See this link for cancelling NOW.

Go onto live chat to speak with staff who are the only ones who can deal with it. Make sure to be signed in and use the ‘How to get in touch’ drop down.

Since you haven’t used it in so long I would strongly suggest to delete your account.

Otherwise put a payment PIN on your account which will stop anything new starting.

@Sudhir

Firstly, are we talking about Broadband or Streaming?

But with either, you can’t just stop using it and expect the billing to stop; for streaming, you have to take care to cancel the Membership(s), and for broadband, you need to contact the Now Broadband team.

Also, what happened to the box you had? If you gave it away, scrapped it, just moved away from the property it was in, or whatever, without fully resetting it first, then whoever has it now could have been cheerfully watching Now on it ever since, at your expense!

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.

Just noticed you said September 2023 not 2022......stupid me! So it's been about 9 months.

Yet more evidence that the break wasn’t long enough…. 😛
