My Windows 10 laptop won't play Now tv programs

I loaded Now TV on my laptop and was asked to use Firefox to access it. I installed Firefox, and was then asked to download Microsoft Silverlight.  Having done that also, I tried to access a program, but when I press the "play" arrow, all I get is a dark blue screen and a revolving white graphic with the message "loading".  I have waited for as long as five minutes, but the graphic never changes.  Why is the program failing to load. Is there anything I can do in the settings for Silverlight?

@Anonymous User

Have you tried the NowTV dedicated App in the Windows store ?

IMO works much better than an internet browser.

The NowTv app from store works well on my low end Win10 laptop.

@Anonymous User two options, in Firefox on the left of the address bar might be a lego piece , click on this and Allow and Remember nowtv.com to run "Silverlight".
You then might need to refresh the page.

Or I'd suggest using the Windows App instead of Silverlight, a lot less hassle.
