A few questions on the above (a phone number would have been good to allow me to call which would reduce my wasted time but appreciate it is more efficient for Now TV):

I subscribed to the sports package recently but haven't yet received a confirmation email-when will it come through?

I intend to watch the Lions tests on my LG tv and suspect I need a password-when will that come through?

If I am unsatisfied with the service what is my course of action? i.e. greivance procedure?

Welcome to the forum

1. If you bought a sports month pass it will have started straight away, and you should see it listed in your My Account > My Passes page

If you bought a day or week pass they sit in your account until you are ready to use it, as soon as you start watching a sports channel it will begin.

2. You just log into the NOW TV app on your LG TV (assuming it is a suitable model) with your NOW TV username and password. No extra password need.

3. If there are any problems watching, you can contact live chat or send a message from this page

Ah sorry I see you mentioned confirmation email, it's usually sent out straight away, check your spam folder. You can also see confirmation of purchases in your My Account > View My Bills page

Andy-I don't have anything in the spam folder. Additionally I have looked in My Account and it tells me I can't sign upto Now TV outside the UK.....I'm sat in my sitting room in Lincolnshire!

Again...any ideas?

Andy-I have tried to access Now TV through my LG TV which has the app. 

1. I can only see films and no sports

2. When I do try a film it requests that I go to NOW TV and subscribe to play

3. When I interogate My Account it tells me I am signed in as another user

Any ideas?

Blimey, doesn't sound like you're having a good time of it. Not sure I have all the answers but ...

1. Are you using a NOW TV app that's actually installed on your LG TV itself (you'd need to have a fairly recent Smart TV for that ie a TV that connects to the Internet itself). If it is, then you should be able to watch sports on that. However it sounds like you might be using NOW TV via a YouView box connected to your TV (eg TalkTalk or BT YouView boxes). If that's the case then unfortunately they only carry movies, you can't watch sports or any other passes on that.

2. Do you run any VPNs or have you made any other changes to your broadband to make it look like you are not in the UK eg do you watch the USA version of Netflix for example? If so, you need to reverse them to login and use NOW TV properly. If not, it may be that you've just been given a duff IP address by your ISP - turning your router off for a good 10-15 mins usually solves that.

3. If you still have trouble signing into the NOW TV website and getting to your My Account area, it's probably best to have a word with live chat, they'll be able to check stuff at the back-end. You should be able to get on live chat on this page (try using a desktop or laptop if you can)

The TV is over 6 years old so I guess this is the problem but I am also viewing through YouView.

Do you think it is worth buying a box for the TV?

A lot of regulars on the forum would recommend the NOW TV box as a good device for watching NOW TV on, including myself, but the choice really is up to you. There's lot of other devices which you can use to watch NOW TV on - you'll find a list on this page

Most definitely yes. The tiny NOW TV 'black' box is excellent and uses very little power. I have one currently connected to a Panasonic television 🙂

It seems pretty tough to give you guys money!! 

I can see that the digitaltvsignup offer for £14.99 for 1 month sky sports pass is showing online as a valid offer now, yet I cannot seem to redeem this anywhere. Please can you advise how I can complete on this transaction?
