Welcome to the forum.
The NOW TV team are aware of some problems with activating week passes. If that applies to you have a word with live chat to see if they can help.
To get there go to the following help page
http://help.nowtv.com/article/None-of-the-above
and click the green Contact Us button near the bottom left of it (not the How to Contact Us link right at the bottom as that takes you somewhere else) then choose the Live Chat option on the following page.

got a replacement voucher code from nowtv and that also came up invalid,,,,,,

Are you applying the voucher by going to the nowtv website using your internet browser and clicking on My Account > My Passes as per the guide linked below.
Also, perhaps try a different internet browser when applying the voucher code.

Are you saying that your nowtv account is all setup and your entertainment voucher has been added successfully to your username account, but you can't watch the entertainment pass on your nowtv playback devices ?
If that's the case make sure that you sign in with your playback devices with your nowtv username and not email address.
Also if you are trying to watch on a YouView box, unfortunately the entertainment pass is not supported on this particular device (only on demand movies).
