wronng password

i have just got my new hub2 the password that was given is not correct.

yes i tried 

*as written on card/hub2

*all caps 

*all lower case 

*changing S - 8 for miss prints 

i have used manual controls to connect but how would i change the password for the box?

why have i been sent the wrong password?

why does my password i have been given appear to be explicit?

The password is very likely mixed case, so all caps and all lower likely won’t work.

To change the password, follow the fine Help :-

Maybe the sticker is wrong, or maybe the hub has had its password changed?

A Factory Reset would resolve this.

When you say your password is explicit, do you mean it contains a swearword? Passwords are generated at random, but we might hope the unfortunate ones would get weeded out.

 

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.

Have you tried lower case L as upper case 'i' looks identical to 'I'?

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help
