Initial set up of Smart TV and now app not installing

Trying to set up my LG smart TV 

I have free view channels through the Ariel but when I try to use Now tv I get the message application did not install try again 

 

any ideas

Have you tried deleting the NOW App, then download a fresh version, then unplug the power to the television if the App has fully loaded, give it say 2 minutes then power back up the television.

 

Whilst the television is unplugged i would be also inclined to reboot your Router has well.

 

Sorry can't help much, because i don't own an LG Web OS smart TV.

Another thing you could try is the suggestion in this linked thread below, though it might not be applicable to you because it mentions Error Code PL-0

You could also possibly try a factory reset and start from scratch again.

 

Also if using a VPN, try temporary disabling it.
