Dialing out problems

Hi - On the 30th March 2020 the NOWTV broadband and phone was installed and setup at my mother-in-law's house. The broadband works perfectly, but there is a problem with the phone when dialing out. When dialing a number that we know is NOT engaged, we usually get an "all lines are busy" message, or an engaged tone. This happens at least every second time that a number is dialed. The internal phone wiring is fine, there are microfilters on the phones (there are 2 phones), and the Technical tests on the NowTV website indicates that is is OK.

 

The phone was changed from SSE power to NowTV. With the old service provider, there were never any problems. If in fact, NowTV only as a limited amount of lines allocated to them by Openreach, then this is a problem. Has anyone else had this problem?

Have the same problems with line .  Broadband works ok.  During this time when we are required to work from home , it's difficult with no phone.  Have tried all the technical steps suggested but no good. Surely,there  should be a way customers can get human assistance.

So you also get the "all lines are busy" message even when the number you dial should be clear? This is really bad. SOOOO difficult to talk to a human. I think we'll just change service peoviders and cut the losses.
