Broadband down

Broadband is down in TN2 area Tunbridge Wells Kent since mid night. No updates from Now, no status page no banner we are left in dark.

You won't get any form of staff giving updates on here in relation to broadband. It has never happened in my time of using the forum.

Below are some standard things you can and probably have done before calling the team.

Have you done a factory reset to the router indicated in the link below?https://help.nowtv.com/article/improve-broadband-speed

This link also shows any planned outages as well wide spread faults.

You need to call the broadband team. See link for number.

Also when you report it and only when you report it you’ll no doubt be in line for compensation.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

@gavs82008 They have acknowledged there is problem at their end and engineers are working on it. Shocked they don't have a service status page.

But there is such a page, and @gavs82008 gave you the link to it.

Here is the immensely valuable advice it provides at the moment:-

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
