Roku smart box

I'm a new customer I have the new smart box but my tv has just the scart in it can i use a scart to hmdi connector many thanks

Welcome to the forum. Officially the NOW TV Smart box won't work with a TV that doesn't have a HDMI port

Unofficially it should work in theory, but you may find the results unsatisfactory, and there would be no guarantee of success so it's a case of whether you want to buy one to try it and see or not.

Hey T

 

One thing you should be aware of, Sky/Now TV is well known for deleting unsupported facilities so if what you're trying works it may still be zapped at some future date.

Niether the Express smart box, or Stick+ smart box ( stick) support RGB/Scart/AV out, HDMI only im affraid.

the older Roku 2 however does, but it will be painfully slow

 

As of now there are only two smart devices from Roku on the UK market, the Stiock+ and the Express, everyhitng else has been discontinued.
