New Samsung Smart TV

Yesterday I bought and set up a new Samsung QE32Q50AEU Smart TV as my old Sony died on us. On trying to log in to Now TV App on the new Samsung TV.

I tried to use my already, existing NOW Smart Stick and Desk Top username and password. This was rejected. NOW TV DOES NOT RECOGNISE THE USERNAME OR PASSWORD, is the onscreen message! How do I go about logging into my Now account on my new Samsung TV? And why is my present username and password rejected if it still works on my desk top PC??

Any advice and guidance would be helpful please?

What version of the Now app is it showing?

On my UE32M5500, Now version 8.8.5(2.0.8), I get ‘Forgot your username or password, or need to create an account? Go to NowTV.com/samsung

That might be a place to go…

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
