Hi all
I haven't been able to use the Now TV player for about 2 months. I just spoke to an agent and they confirmed that Windows 11 is unsupported. Sounds like support for Windows 11 is currently being tested but I wasn't able to get a launch date. Transcript excerpt below for reference. Just wanted to share to save others the pain of uninstalling, reinstalling etc.
Kamla (15/10/2022, 16:05:24): I understand that you are facing issue while accessing NOW contents on windows 11 laptop, Let's just check and see what has happened and offer you the best solution.
null (15/10/2022, 16:05:41): Correct, thanks
Kamla (15/10/2022, 16:06:08): I would like to ask you a few questions so that I can get your query resolved in the best way possible.

Kamla (15/10/2022, 16:07:28): Is it windows 10 or windows 11?

null (15/10/2022, 16:09:34): are there plans for it to support windows 11?
Kamla (15/10/2022, 16:10:18): Yes, our team is working on this, but it should be soon available with us and once it's launched fully then we will certainly notify the member on updating on our website, rest assured.
null (15/10/2022, 16:10:37): Thanks, do you have an exact date for release please?
Kamla (15/10/2022, 16:10:54): At the moment it's under testing phase, and I wish I could give you the exact date.

The players on both Windows and macOS seem to be poor relations compared to other devices. Even when working, posters on here report regular problems. The consensus from forum users generally is that these players are best avoided if at all possible.

In my opinion @redchiz1 Now needs to introduce a browser-based HTML 5 video player as this is now the method almost every other streaming service uses for playback support on PC and Mac.
If they did this we would have a decent chance of getting 1080p playback on PC. There would also be a good chance that wou Linux would then be supported also. 5.1 audio support would be unlikely, though.

No point addressing that to me, bud. 😉

Actually (again!) scrub that, it does seem to vary between platforms where some browsers may/not be compatible and various additions made depending on quality desired.
