Apple TV NOW TV and Sky Go apps not working

Hi 

I am having trouble using NOW tv and the sky go app (not sure if it’s linked) on the Apple TV. It lets me use the apps on my phone and I can also use my phone to stream these apps.

An advisor has said that it could be because it’s showing that I’m not in the UK but I am. I don’t have a VPN. When I toggle private relay on my iPad it works but I don’t know how to extend this to my Apple TV? I hope this makes sense and someone can help.

Try a full power down of your router for at least 30 minutes. Or a factory reset. 

For some reason this can cause some odd IP address issues.

Private Relay does not apply to Apple TV boxes.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
