New box

I've just purchased a new box and gone to fill in my bank details... If they are not taking any money out of my account today then why is it refusing my card details saying "payment not authorised"

A notional 10p is taken to verify identity, bank details and your location

All the points via the link above don't apply
(Bank details, available funds, address, correct digits etc)
and it's still saying 'payment not authorised'....

Does anyone have any further advice please?

Contact your bank, they should be able to advise why they didn't authorise the payment.
