I am using the NowTV stick and struggling to play movies. When i select to play a movie on the home page it diverts me to the Apps. There is no NowTv app so waste of time. Why am i unable to play movied that i search for?

I had this problem a few weeks back and the latest software update seemed to fix it for me.
If none of the other trouble shooting steps on the previous link doesn't help, then see if NowTV live chat can assist you further.

See if forcing a software update on your Stick makes any difference (step 6 on this linked guide below).

Also does the same fault occur if you use the voice or text search, or finding the movie you want to view by clicking on the purple Cinema Pass ticket icon box on the main home screen page on your Stick.
What happens if you add the movie to your My TV Watchlist or start watching on say the NowTV App on your smartphone, tablet etc then jump over to the NowTV Stick Continue Watching section.
