Now Smart stick

My smart stick has stopped responding to the remote. When I touch the smart stick it seems very hot is this right?

No, @Anonymous User that doesn’t sound right. Your Now smart stick has probably reached the end of it’s life. 
Time to consider a replacement. As the Now smart sticks are no longer available, considered opinion for the most capable replacement is the Amazon Fire Stick. Or a Roku stick if you prefer.

Bit of a long shot, you could try setting the stick back to factory settings. Otherwise follow the sound advice from @Mark_Weinreb
