I’m trying set up a new NOWTV Stick. Got as far as ‘Get started’ & then says ‘oops something went wrong’ try again, repeatedly!! Any help please. Ta!!

NowTV are encountering some sort of technical difficulty their end tonight with customers attempting to setup their new devices with the message saying "Connection Dropped" Activation Plugin Error .
NowTV are aware of it (see screen shot below).
Somebody on the forum mentioned try selecting 720p when setting up the device instead of Auto or 1080p may get you past the error message until NowTV fixes it.
